Feeding / Breeding Instructions

1. Mix 1 part NEKTON-Drosophila Concentrate with 1.5–2 parts warm water (22–25°C / 71.6–77°F).

2. Add the prepared media to a sealed, ventilated container.

3. Place excelsior or coffee filters in the container and seed with flightless flies from an existing culture.

4. Optional: add a few drops of fruit vinegar to accelerate breeding.

5. Adjust paste thickness with water as needed; the media will eventually liquefy, providing optimal conditions for larvae.
